The truth about me
Guo Feng is not patient and he is not kind.
Guo Feng does envy, does boast and is proud.
Guo Feng is rude (at times), self-seeking, is easily angered and he keeps record of wrongs.
Guo Feng does delight in evil (at times) but does not always rejoices with the truth.
Guo Feng does not always protects/trusts/hopes/perseveres.
BUT...Guo Feng knows Jesus and Jesus is all of that he isn't.
With Jesus, Guo Feng can change all that.

Privileges and Entitlement...
well well...isn't tad a familiar phrase which all the Singaporean males would have heard if u have gone thru NS
this phrase came back to strike me in such a different light today...
it was actually during worship at the sub-d meeting which God reminded me about this...
the world views many things as entitlement...
for example, labour law states that leave of absence is an entitlement...
in our current generation...we view many things as entitlement as well...so we might feel as though we should deserve many of the things and thus we start to take things for granted...
this translate into our Christian walk as well! which is such a dangerous concept...we take praise and worship as an entitlement...in the sense that as Christians we are free to meet and seek God...slowly slowly it becomes routine and we take it for granted
what we don't realise is that many of the things we see as entitlement are privileges granted by God...our Abba Father!
we are carnal...fallen...we don't even deserve to see and meet God face to face...but yet He chose to die so that we can enjoy such simple things such as praising and worshipping Him...reading His word...etc.
so many of the things we view as entitled to us due to our status as His children are actually so precious and came at such a high price!
to quote from a preaching by Ps Sal Sbrena...
"I live in such a way that it doesn't degrade the sacrifice Jesus has made for us on the cross..."
