The truth about me
Guo Feng is not patient and he is not kind.
Guo Feng does envy, does boast and is proud.
Guo Feng is rude (at times), self-seeking, is easily angered and he keeps record of wrongs.
Guo Feng does delight in evil (at times) but does not always rejoices with the truth.
Guo Feng does not always protects/trusts/hopes/perseveres.
BUT...Guo Feng knows Jesus and Jesus is all of that he isn't.
With Jesus, Guo Feng can change all that.

The Truth About Freedom
Was pondering about the real meaning of freedom in the name of Jesus on the train today...
I guess it was due to a song by Planetshakers that popped into my iPod...
As believers of Jesus, we are told that we are free from the chains and bondages of sin.
We are free from the many worries of the world, but it doesn't mean a worry-less life.
It doesn't mean that by being a Christian, I will no longer have troubles, sickness, pain, etc.
We always hear pastors saying we are free from such and such things...so why are we still not living the trouble-free life we've been waiting for??
I guess it all boils down to how we have misinterpreted the true meaning of freedom...
Freedom from pain (for example) does not mean the absence of it.
Just like how freedom from sin does not mean the absence of it.
True freedom means that we are no longer bugged down by it, we no longer feel powerless by it. It means that even it comes back to haunt us, we can no longer be haunted by it because we can face it straight and with courage because we have Christ. It provides us with this hope to face with Him and not alone.
We have Christ that has come before us and fight this battle for us on our behalf!!
Deuteronomy 20:4
"For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."
